Cooking Instructions: 

  • Materials Required: Vanita Aahar Idli Mix, Water, Refined edible oil 
  • Boil 600 ml (4 cups) of water in a big vessel or pressure cooker. 
  • Add contents of this packet with water and add refined edible oil. Stir this mixture and keep it aside. 
  • Grease the Idli moulds lightly with edible oil. Stir mix again and pour the batter into the Idli moulds. 
  • Keep these moulds into the hot vessel or pressure cooker, cover the lid (without whistle of the cooker) and steam cook on medium flame for 15-20 minutes. 
  • Put out the flame, take out the moulds and serve hot with sambhar or coconut chutney.  
  • Water and oil to be added to the Idli mix is mentioned in the table below for the different packaging sizes:
